Hello everyone!

My name is Kaleigh McNerney, and I am the Crime & Data Analyst with the Fall River Police Department. I’ve been involved with MACA since 2014, and over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how much our association has grown — and how valuable this community is for connecting, learning, and supporting one another.

If elected as your next Vice President of Membership, I’d love to focus on continuing that growth: expanding our membership, strengthening connections across agencies, and ensuring both new and longtime members feel welcomed and engaged. MACA has helped me grow my analytical skills through the connections I’ve built and strengthened within this organization. We all started out new to the field at some point, and without MACA, many of us might have struggled to find our footing. That’s why I want to place a special focus on student engagement — helping guide future analysts and providing them with the same opportunities and support that benefited me.

This organization has been an incredible resource throughout my career, and I’m excited for the opportunity to give back by helping it reach even more analysts across Massachusetts and beyond.

Thank you for your consideration — I’d be honored to serve as your VP of Membership!

To all MACA members,

I am excited to express my interest in continuing to serve as Vice President of Membership within the Massachusetts Association of Crime Analysts (MACA). Over the past two years in this role, I’ve greatly appreciated being part of a community that drives innovation and progress in crime analysis throughout Massachusetts and New England. It has been both rewarding and inspiring to collaborate with members, contribute to board initiatives, and help support the ongoing operations of our association.

I’ve been a Crime Analyst for 20 years and a proud MACA member for all of them. Over that time, I’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible people, forming lifelong connections, and growing alongside this remarkable community. Serving as Vice President is more than just a role for me it’s a personal commitment to giving back to an organization that has given me so much. During my time on the MACA board, I’ve had the privilege of helping to strengthen member engagement, assist with outreach efforts, and contribute to the continued success of our annual conference, which for over 25 years has been one of the premier training opportunities for analysts in our region. If entrusted with another term as Vice President of Membership, I will remain focused on introducing innovative ideas, methodologies, and practices that enhance member value and connection. I am also committed to actively listening to the needs and ideas of our membership to ensure MACA continues to serve as one of the strongest regional associations in the country.

It has been an honor to serve as the Vice President of Membership over the past two years, and I look forward to the opportunity to continue contributing to MACA’s mission and success. Thank you for your time and consideration and for the privilege of working alongside you.  Sincerely, Michael Bozio
