MACA is pleased to offer a  Presentation by Kristi Fritscher Grants Manager & Crime Analyst  Fitchburg Police - City of Fitchburg, Massachusetts

The presentation is titled -  Grants & Crime Analysis – The role of the analyst in the grant writing process.

Brief overview of available law enforcement grant opportunities and how data was used to help support winning applications.

 

How crime analysis is used in the pre-award, grant process, and the post-award process for grant writing and grant management.

 

What role analysts can play in the grant writing process and how they can support programs post award.

 

What kinds of questions should analysts be asking of grant writers when they are solicited for data and information for grant applications.

 

Kristi will give an example of a grant that was recently award, and how I used data to argue my need for federal assistance for my department.
